French Château Trip 2018

Date: Friday, 23 February, 2018

Time: 0:00

A selected group of students are being given the exciting opportunity to visit France in February 2018 through our MFL department.

Leaving in the morning of Friday 23rd February 2018, and travelling by coach and ferry, we will visit and stay at 'Le Château du Broutel' in the small historic town of Rue in Normandy, France for three nights.

It will be a fantastic European cultural experience and an opportunity to practise language skills in a real-life scenario. Students will stay in the château for the duration and participate in team activities. Entertainment will be provided in the evenings and all meals will be included.

There will be a variety of excursions including trips to Rue to visit the markets, a sweet factory, a goat farm, a day trip to Disneyland Paris. Students will also be able to make their own croissants during a bakery visit.

The cost for the 3-day trip will be approximately £315 per student including all transport and accommodation, most meals, insurance and entry to all attractions during the trip.

To book a place on the trip, students should return their acceptance slip below to Miss Brocklehurst at school with a minimum non-refundable deposit of £150 by Friday 28th April 2017. Please be aware that the final payment must be made by 15th December 2017. Students should maintain a good standard of behaviour to ensure their place on the trip is secure.

Further information will be given as soon as possible, if you have any queries about this trip, please don't hesitate to contact me at school.
